Case study

Middle Eastern Asset Manager

$150mn AuM | 45% lower costs and more than 2× AuM without additional hires

The challenge

The asset manager wanted to strengthen its portfolio management infrastructure while keeping operating costs under control.

As the business grew, manual reporting, portfolio analysis and research processes were becoming increasingly difficult to scale. The firm needed a more integrated way to manage portfolios, monitor performance and expand its investment coverage without adding more people.

The solution

PRAAMS enabled the asset manager to launch its own branded portfolio management system.

The platform automated daily reporting, performance calculations, and supported portfolio modelling and analysis. The investment team also gained access to analytics across more than 400,000 instruments, with branded PDF reports that could be used internally and shared with clients.

Research capabilities were expanded through PRAAMS’s AI Co-Investor, with both quick and deep research modes supporting day-to-day investment analysis.

Together, these capabilities brought reporting, research, analytics and portfolio management into a single operating environment.

The business impact

Over the following year, the asset manager was able to streamline its operations and reduce personnel-related costs. Overall operating costs fell by 45% through personnel optimisation.

At the same time, the stronger infrastructure allowed the existing team to support a significantly larger business. AuM more than doubled without additional hires, materially improving operating leverage.

The result

Beyond the efficiency gains, the asset manager expects the upgraded investment and reporting capabilities to strengthen its reputation with clients and support 10–15% higher fees.

The project gave the firm a more scalable portfolio management model: lower operating costs, broader investment coverage and the capacity to grow AuM without a corresponding increase in headcount.
